Sherri Haymond is executive vice president and global head of Digital Commercialization at Mastercard and a member of the company’s Management Committee.
Sherri is responsible for commercializing Mastercard’s next generation of digital commerce — including agentic AI and digital assets — advancing the company’s leadership at the intersection of technology, payments and the evolving digital economy.
She leads the development and scaling of new digital business models and platform capabilities, working closely with the world’s leading technology companies, financial institutions, AI pioneers, and digital asset innovators. Her work focuses on turning innovation into real‑world adoption and positioning Mastercard as the partner of choice for those shaping the future of commerce.
Since joining Mastercard in 2010, Sherri has held several leadership roles at the forefront of payments transformation. Most recently, as co‑president of Global Partnerships, she redefined how Mastercard collaborates with fintechs and digital partners of all sizes. Over the course of her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in advancing industry‑defining solutions, including mobile payments, tokenization, open finance and other platform‑based capabilities that have transformed digital commerce.
Earlier in her career, Sherri worked in structured finance at Banc of America Securities and practiced capital markets law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. She is passionate about small business, having co-founded one based in New York City. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Duke University.
