Executive Vice President, Global Customer Delivery & Care

Ka-Wai Au is the executive vice president of Global Customer Delivery & Care at Mastercard and a member of the company’s Management Committee.

Ka-Wai leads the Global Customer Delivery & Care organization consisting of Delivery, Care and Operations in a unified team ensuring customer needs and interests stay at the heart of everything Mastercard does. His organization brings its unique depth and breadth of knowledge of how customers use Mastercard's products and acts as their true voice within Mastercard. From product onboarding and implementation through customer support, this organization helps the company show up as One Mastercard for all stakeholders across the entire experience journey.

With 25 years of international executive experience across fintech, technology consulting, banking and regulation, Ka-Wai has reimagined technology priorities, created trusted partnerships and ensured joint ownership when executing complex programs. Prior to joining Mastercard in 2023, Ka-Wai served as head of Technology at Fiserv for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Financial Institutions Business operations. He played a pivotal role in leading a series of major client implementations, the acquisition of First Data and also built the next-generation cloud-based issuing processing platform. During his tenure at the U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority, he led the implementation of fundamental change to the regulator’s delivery procedures. He also previously held leadership positions at Barclays Bank and Accenture.

Ka-Wai graduated from the University of Bristol in the U.K. with a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering.
