Chief Commercial Payments Officer

Dimitrios (Dimi) Dosis is the chief commercial payments officer at Mastercard and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Management Committee. He leads Mastercard’s Global Commercial & New Payment Flows business, a key driver of the company’s growth plan. Dimi is responsible for delivering the strategy, growth and innovative solutions that help businesses of all sizes make and receive payments more efficiently and securely. The business unit spans commercial cards, B2B payables and receivables, bill payments and money movement, with a focus on serving small businesses, middle market companies, multinational corporates and governments.

Prior to his current role, Dimi served as president of Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he led Mastercard’s businesses across more than 80 markets and advanced the company’s efforts to bring new payment solutions and services to the region. These innovations spanned safety, security, data, artificial intelligence and inclusive growth. Under his leadership, Mastercard strengthened its position as a multi-rail technology company, collaborating with a broad range of public and private sector partners to enhance the region’s digital ecosystem.

Dimi previously served as president of Mastercard Advisors, the company’s professional services arm, where he accelerated the use of predictive technologies and data-driven insights to help retail and banking customers address complex business challenges and unlock growth opportunities.

He has more than 25 years of experience in technology, transaction banking and management consulting. Dimi holds an MBA and Ph.D. from the European Business School as well as a Master of Economics from the University of Hagen. He also served as a member of the board of directors for ATHEX (The Athens Stock Exchange).
