If a member encounters an issue or problem during their stay in a qualifying “prepaid hotel rate” that is at least four stars (4), is part of the Luxury Hotel and Resorts Collection, and was paid for using their Mastercard card, they can contact Mastercard Concierge. The concierge will work to either resolve the problem directly with the hotel or find alternative accommodations. This program ensures that, if necessary, the member will receive comparable lodging with minimal additional cost, up to a specified limit, providing a seamless and hassle-free solution during their stay. Mastercard Lowest Hotel Rate Guarantee: If a member books a qualifying “prepaid hotel rate” using their Mastercard card and then finds a lower, publicly available rate for the same room and with the same offering conditions on another website, they may be eligible to receive a rate match and refund for the difference in prices. The lower price must be before taxes and fees. The hotel must be a four-star (4) hotel part of the Luxury Hotel and Resorts Collection. The booking may be made online via the Mastercard Travel and Lifestyle Services platform or offline with a concierge agent over the phone or via email.
