Mastercard partners with the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge

  


 

 

Mastercard cardholders will have access to exclusive Priceless Experiences celebrating the growing passion for tennis worldwide.


Mastercard proudly unveils its new global partnership with the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge™ – the women’s World Cup of Tennis and largest annual international team competition in women’s sports. Tennis is experiencing global momentum, with nearly 106 million people playing the sport worldwide, a 25% increase since 2019.

The collaboration launched today with an event at Mastercard’s Style of Our Own activation on London’s Regent Street, featuring tennis legend Billie Jean King. 

Mastercard will also become the inaugural partner of the Billie Jean King Cup Global Rankings and the “Team of the Year” award – recognizing the team that has demonstrated exceptional passion, performance, and alignment with the values of the Billie Jean King Cup.

Through this partnership, Mastercard will offer fans a range of Priceless Experiences designed to bring them closer to the sport they love. Cardholder benefits that will debut at the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Finals, taking place September 16-21 in Shenzhen, China, include:

  • Behind-the-scenes tour of the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Arena and access to player warm up

  • Participation in the iconic coin toss flip during the Finals 

  • Exclusive ticket pre-sale access for Mastercard cardholders
