Checkers, a drive-thru restaurant chain in the U.S., wanted to understand the incremental impact of introducing e-commerce vendors for delivery orders.
By using the Test & Learn business experimentation platform, Checkers was able to accurately evaluate the initiative.
Test & Learn found that the new vendors drove nearly a double digit increase in e-commerce sales. Diving deeper into these insights, the platform revealed that roughly half of the sales increase was incremental, whereas the other half was cannibalized from on-premise sales. These findings were presented to the Checkers executive team to help inform their overall e-commerce strategy.
