#StartSomethingPriceless: Mastercard & World Food Programme

Everything starts with a gesture of generosity. As a leader in the drive towards financial inclusion, Mastercard is exploring innovative ways for people to make a difference. The company has installed interactive donation billboards around Paris that allow passers-by to donate a week of school meals for one euro via contactless payments, simply by holding up their phone. In partnership with the World Food Programme, Mastercard is committed to deliver 100 million school meals by June 2018 and ultimately contribute to reversing the cycle of poverty. You are invited to join the #StartSomethingPriceless movement by making a pledge. Share it with @Mastercard on Instagram or Twitter through a photo, video, or a simple statement.

Girls4Tech and Major League Baseball Join Together to Start Something Priceless

Mastercard recently teamed up with Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals Youth Academy to bring its signature Girls4Tech STEM program to Washington, D.C. Following the Girls4Tech workshop, the 22 participants, ages 9-13, were surprised at Nationals Park with a visit from Nationals’ pitcher and 2018 All-Star, Max Scherzer. A select group of these students will walk on the field with the starting lineups of the MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard as Girls4Tech Champions and Mastercard Youth Ambassadors.
