Mastercard Lighthouse 2026 Spring program welcomes 21 forward-looking Nordic and Baltic fintech and impact companies

Mastercard Lighthouse announces 21 companies to join the leading startup partnership program in the Nordics and Baltics -FINITIV for fintech companies, and MASSIV for sustainability and social impact tech startups. The programs bring together startups and early scaleups with partner banks, investors, corporate partners, advisors and Mastercard to scale innovative ideas.  

The two programs run simultaneously twice a year. In this spring’s programs, the search is focused on Norway, Denmark, and the Baltics.

Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV focuses on the financial sector

The program´s mission is to strengthen the financial services ecosystem by combining the energy and innovation of startups and scaleups with the stability and global reach of partner banks (Swedbank, SEB, OP, DNB, Danske Bank, Resurs, SpareBank 1 Østlandet and Nets/Nexi Group), investors, corporate partners and Mastercard.

The program welcomes 15 participants in diverse topics such as cybersecurity, embedded insurance, payment acceptance, and AI-based solutions.

Meet the Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV Spring Class of 2026: 

Denmark

  •  Alvenir is building the AI-agent orchestration platform to enable human-centric financial services in a digital world.
  •  AQRISK set new standards in how banks can optimize their core banking business and significantly increase profitability.
  • Avido AI helps financial services teams move AI from pilots to production through policy-aligned proof.
  • Dreamplan helps people take control of their financial future through intuitive, self-service financial guidance.
  • Skjoldet delivers an evidence-backed, pre-transaction fraud merchant signals list aggregated from local user exposure.

Norway

  • Gain Technology helps banks offer merchant-funded cashback without building merchant relationships or rewards infrastructure.
  • Glede lets companies send digital gift cards that employees can use anywhere Mastercard is accepted via mobile wallets.
  • Preventum Labs helps the insurance industry, SME companies and financial institutions detect and prevent fraud before it happens.
  • Tabify enables effortless dine-in payments for restaurants—scan, split, and pay in seconds.
  • Tillit provides insurance for second-hand goods on marketplaces, making it easier and safer for individuals to shop.

Baltics

  • Bakksy helps to unlock millions of euros in revenue from existing clients and attracting fresh customers for banks.
  • CyberTested provides AI pen-testing and darkweb monitoring that helps financial institutions stay ahead of threats and maintain PCI DSS, etc.
  • Enty is a single Control Panel for all boring back-office operations.
  •  Soverio is a SaaS solution to connect existing IT systems to the EU Digital Identity Wallet ecosystem.
  • Tapaya is transforming any mobile application into a multi-method in-store payment terminal.

Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV program supports impact-driven tech companies in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through strategic partnerships. By connecting startups with major organizations, the program helps sustainable innovators scale globally.

As part of the Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV program, the six selected impact-tech startups from Norway, Estonia and Sweden will receive feedback and support from UNDP, Swedbank, Danske Bank, Nets/Nexi Group, Synch and individual advisory board members with diverse and impressive backgrounds from organizations and firms like VNTRS, Swedish Red Cross and Mastory. 

Meet the spring class of Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV:  
  • SpennX – Norwegian SpennX delivers a multicurrency app that allows individuals and institutions to move money across borders using stablecoins.
  • Manje Health– Founded in Sweden, Manje is building compliant cross-border health payment infrastructure enabling families to pay hospitals and insurers, in a reliable and cost-effective way.
  • Octany – Founded in Sweden, Octany consolidates Nordic nonprofit fundraising into one platform to acquire, manage and engage donors.
  • CorPower Ocean – a company from Sweden, CorPower Ocean is the industry leader in wave energy, on a mission to power the planet with clean electricity from ocean waves.
  • Soldera – based in Estonia, Soldera is unifying all the renewable energy registries into a single platform. Soldera helps 500+ corporations procure, track and retire energy certificates across 4,000+ utility power plants, cutting compliance costs by 40%.
  • Plussa – Sweden-based Plussa is an AI mental health startup on a mission to improve wellbeing for over one billion working parents globally with an evidence-based app.

The companies selected for the program were chosen for their commitment and capacity to scale sustainable partnerships. Mastercard aims to strengthen these collaborations in pursuit of its vision to create a more prosperous and secure world.
