Axiology and Deedster selected as winners of Mastercard's Lighthouse FINITIV and MASSIV spring 2025 programs

May 23, 2025 | Tallinn, Estonia

The winners of Mastercard's Lighthouse MASSIV and FINITIV spring 2025 programs have been announced at the Mastercard Lighthouse Startup Showcase and Grand Finale events at the Latitude59 conference in Tallinn, Estonia.

Baltic-based Axiology, a company building digital infrastructure for tokenized securities in the EU, was announced the winner of the Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV Program. Axiology receives the award for their innovative approach and strong partnership readiness, with a forward-thinking solution that impressed the jury and signals strong future potential.

”Winning Mastercard Lighthouse Finitiv affirms our mission: Europe must build capital markets that are not just efficient, but strategic. Financing defence, securing energy independence, and standing up to existential threats requires more than budgets — it demands infrastructure that mobilizes capital at scale”, said Marius Jurgilas Founder & CEO of Axiology

Swedish Deedster, a premier provider of data and digital tools for measuring and managing carbon emissions tailored for financial institutions, was announced the winner of Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV program. Deedster receives the award for their strong partnership potential, demonstrated through high accountability and solid progress in networking during the program.

For Deedster, the Lighthouse Program helped us to further validate and qualify the impact potential of our business together with UNDP, but most importantly, Mastercard has opened up several avenues in their network for scaling our SME offering for banks.  We can now accelerate our roll out of a lean and cost-efficient solution for banks to address the pain point of sourcing data for regulatory reporting while at the same time helping their SME customers with green transition and financing", said Niclas Persson, CEO & Co-founder of Deedster.

Both companies will now have the opportunity to pitch their business to Start Path, Mastercard’s global start-up engagement program. Additionally, all participants become part of the Mastercard Lighthouse alumni network, which remains active through ongoing communication and meetups.
