Betalo and Mastercard Sweden announce new partnership to innovate B2B payment solutions in the region.

Betalo, a prominent Swedish payment institution and winner of the Swedish Class of Mastercard Lighthouse fall program in 2024, has formed a strategic partnership with Mastercard in Sweden. This collaboration aims to bring convenience and ease in the life of Swedish business owners, by leveraging Betalo’s innovative payment solution and Mastercard’s extensive network.

The goal of the partnership is to optimize cash flow, strengthen customer loyalty and streamline B2B payments. Through this collaboration, Betalo enables businesses to pay invoices using their business cards, helping them manage cash flow and simplify the processes around B2B payment, while unlocking valuable loyalty benefits tied to their card programs.

  • Flexible Payment Solutions: Betalo provides a flexible and efficient way to manage cash flow and pay invoices using existing credit lines.  
  • Easy Setup: Customers can easily get started by downloading the Betalo iOS or Android app, registering with Mobile Bank ID, and adding their Mastercard commercial cards details.  
  • Discounted Fees: Through the Mastercard Business Bonus Program, users save 15% on fees. The standard fee of 3.40% is reduced to 2.89% for any Mastercard commercial or business card users. The discounted fee is available directly in the Betalo app and no action is required by the users.
