William Edwards

William Edwards is the Chief Financial Officer for Europe, where he leads all aspects of financial management across the region. He oversees financial reporting, planning and analysis, accounting and controls, objective setting, performance tracking, and business development finance. In addition to core finance responsibilities, William’s remit includes leadership of local real estate, sourcing, treasury, and tax functions across European markets.

Prior to his current role, William held multiple leadership positions at Mastercard, most recently serving as CFO for Mastercard Security Solutions in Purchase, NY. Over his 19 year tenure with the company, he has built deep expertise across the business—spanning Financial Planning & Analysis, business partnering across Core and Services products, pricing strategy, and go to market execution.

William holds a Master’s degree in International Business Economics from the University of Westminster.
