Based in Waterloo, Sébastien Albert leads Mastercard Europe's Strategy and Business Excellence team. With his team, he supports Europe by helping define the regional strategy, empowering teams with data (especially sales) & ensuring appropriate value exchange across the 4-party model. His scope includes Customer Economics, Strategy, Industry Engagement, Analytics & Business Insights & Sales Excellence.
Sébastien previously worked in Finance and Strategy roles at Mastercard and also gained extensive experience advising Payment and Fintech companies on their most strategic priorities at the Boston Consulting Group.
Sébastien graduated magna cum laude as a business engineer from the Solvay Business School. He is still involved in the school as teaching assistant for a strategy seminar.
