Matteo Piccolo

Matteo Piccolo is the Mastercard Services BD lead for Europe - he is responsible for coordinating the Services sales effort across the Region.

Matteo joined Mastercard in 2012 in the Mastercard Advisors team, leading the Italian Consulting delivery team and acting as Client Business Leader for large accounts, pushing Data & Services solutions and overseeing the execution.  In 2016 he started up the Data Partnerships business in Europe, pushing Mastercard data products through alternative channels and reselling partners and then he expanded his remit adding the data Platforms sales. In 2019 he took the Advisors Product Europe lead role, overseeing Consulting, Innovation, Data, and Analytics products. He then moved into a Global role, leading Data & Services Sales Strategy.

Before joining Mastercard, Matteo was with Ernst & Young Advisory and with Accenture for around 10 years, working in the business and strategy practice and focusing on Telco, FI, Aerospace & Defense and Real Estate industries.

Matteo holds a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Rome.

Matteo, his wife and two daughters live in Rome. He is passionate about outdoor activities and beekeeping and he is an heavy reader.
