Donald Ong is Division President for Mastercard's East Southeast Asia division, leading the company's strategy and operations across Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. A seasoned financial services and payments leader with more than 25 years of experience, Donald has been instrumental in advancing Mastercard's growth, innovation, and market leadership across Asia Pacific.

Throughout his tenure at Mastercard, Donald has held several leadership roles across the business, including leading Services Business Development for Asia Pacific and serving as Country Manager for Thailand and Myanmar. He has driven transformational initiatives spanning digital payments, data and AI-powered services, financial inclusion, and ecosystem development, helping deepen partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, businesses, and governments while accelerating digital commerce adoption across the region.

Known for his ability to translate innovation into business impact, Donald brings a unique blend of market expertise, strategic vision, and operational leadership. Prior to joining Mastercard, he held senior banking leadership roles across Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
