Mastercard Transforms McLaren F1 Teams’s Historical Wins into a Musical Tribute

Through music, multisensory experiences and cultural activations, Mastercard reimagines how fans across Latin America connect with their passion for racing.

Kicking off the region’s racing season, Mastercard is redefining the fan experience across Latin America with the launch of a new musical album that fuses speed, data and emotion. This initiative embodies the energy of the sport and celebrates McLaren’s most iconic victories—reimagined through sound— as a part of Mastercard’s multisensory brand strategy to connect with fans in a way that’s as vibrant and passionate as the region itself.

Produced in partnership with UnitedMasters and Mexican artists Le Twins, the album titled The Sound of Victory, blends racing telemetry and historical milestones from McLaren Formula 1 Team’s Constructors’ Championship titles into a powerful sonic celebration. Acceleration, speed and lap times shaped the rhythm and structure of each track, while Le Twins infused each song with soul, authenticity and the spirit of celebration that defines how Latin American fans live their passion for racing.

To celebrate, Mastercard will host “The Grand Party”—a multisensory event where technology, music, gastronomy and Latin American culture unite. Guests will explore the Senses Bar with cocktails inspired by racing, discover Mastercard’s signature fragrances, savor exclusive tacos inspired by McLaren Formula 1 Team drivers in collaboration with restaurant Maizajo, and experience dynamic light displays and kinetic installations. Mastercard’s multisensory wristbands will vibrate and light up in rhythm with the music, making every beat feel alive.

Mexico City was chosen as the birthplace of this multisensory experience because of its unmatched energy, creativity and passion for racing. The city’s vibrant culture and its role as the opening round of the Latin American racing season make it the perfect stage for Mastercard, in hand with McLaren Formula 1 Team, to debut this musical collection.

Working with UnitedMasters’ creative and data teams, we transformed real telemetry from their championship seasons — including speed, RPM, throttle pressure, and lap timing — into rhythmic and melodic cues that informed both tempo and energy across the album. We didn’t just sample data — we composed with it. Every heartbeat of the car & driver transformed into the songs.", said UnitedMasters.
