Mastercard celebrates 100th anniversary of Republic of Türkiye with a priceless campaign

Mastercard Türkiye has launched the “New Faces of the Republic” campaign, specially crafted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. Delivering the message “One hundred years of Republic of Türkiye: Priceless", the campaign features the brand-new “New Faces of the Republic” campaign film, portraying potential-future-faces of Türkiye designed with artificial intelligence, completed with a digital art exhibition.

ISTANBUL, 8 November 2023 – Mastercard Türkiye celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye with the "New Faces of the Republic" campaign. The campaign combines digital and outdoor sources to deliver the message “One hundred years of Republic of Türkiye: Priceless" introducing a brand-new campaign film called “New Faces of the Republic” and a digital art exhibition carrying the same name.

Created in parallel with Mastercard's innovative vision, the new commercial film imagines the faces of the people that are likely to live in Türkiye in the future and carry the fundamental values and heritage of Türkiye into the next generations through artificial intelligence (AI). Created by Kompüter Agency, the film conveys the message “Although their real names or professions are not yet known, the only thing we know is that they will continue to protect the Republic in the future”. The film underlines Mastercard’s commitment to Türkiye by voicing, “Even if the faces change, our love for the Republic will never change. One hundred years of our Republic: Priceless”.

As a part of the campaign, Mastercard established a digital art exhibition of the work designed by the artist Hakan Yılmaz named after the campaign: "New Faces of the Republic", shaped around the question “Who will carry the Republic into the future.” The digital work will be on display at Kanyon Shopping Mall, Şişli, Istanbul until December 10.

To celebrate the Turkish Republic's 100th year, Mastercard also hosted a unique multisensory dinner experience on, blending history, culture, and technology. The event featured a prestigious chef at a stunning historic cistern in Istanbul, complete with a special menu and a captivating mapping show that traced the founding of the Turkish Republic.
