Luanda, Angola, 31 August 2026: Banco BCS and Mastercard have announced a strategic collaboration to introduce and expand Mastercard-enabled debit and credit card benefits, along with enhanced digital payment capabilities, for customers in Angola. The initiative responds to growing demand for faster, simpler, and more secure ways to pay, while strengthening Banco BCS’s card value proposition and overall customer experience.
As part of this rollout, Banco BCS will provide payment solutions tailored to different lifestyle and financial needs, together with enhanced benefits and services for its existing Mastercard Gold and Mastercard World cardholders.
Eligible cardholders will have access to The Mastercard Collection, an elevated suite of dining, entertainment, and travel benefits. These include dining experiences, selected travel and lifestyle offers, and opportunities designed to enhance everyday moments both locally and internationally.
The collaboration will also support the rollout of contactless card payments and improved e-commerce payment functionality, enabling smoother transactions both in-store and online. With a focus on speed, convenience, security and reliability, these solutions are designed to give customers greater flexibility and confidence in how they manage everyday payments.
By combining Mastercard’s advanced payments technology with Banco BCS’s deep understanding of local consumer needs, the collaboration will deliver tailored payment solutions that offer greater simplicity, security, and control, while supporting the continued development of digital payments in Angola.
