Fast, frictionless ways to pay

Our Payment Initiation Service makes it easy and convenient for you to make a secure payment directly from your bank or other payment account provider.

Step 1

For example, when you are paying for your shopping online, you select the option to pay with your online bank account.

Step 2

Consent to and confirm the payment in the secure Mastercard portal.

Step 3

After agreeing to the Terms of Use, you’ll be directed to your bank to complete your usual online banking authentication process.

Step 4

After authentication, we submit the payment order and confirm initiation to you and the party you are paying.

You may also be offered the option to set up a mandate to make Variable Recurring Payments (VRPs) to that retailer subject to payment amount limits and frequency set by you. You can find more information about VRPs here.
