万事达卡、HomeSend支援尼泊尔地震灾区，免收捐款手续费
2015年5月18日 | 北京，中国2015年5月18日，北京——即日起至2015年6月13日，跨境移动汇款服务公司HomeSend将免去所有向尼泊尔地震灾区捐款的手续费用。为鼓励向地震灾区捐款，即日起至2015年6月28日，万事达卡及其发卡机构也将免收亚太地区、美国以及加拿大持卡人向以下机构捐赠的所有款项的手续费：
今年四月尼泊尔发生灾难性地震后，万事达卡承诺向联合国世界粮食计划署和美国关怀基金会提供约143万人民币的资金，为未来数月尼泊尔的震后恢复提供资源和支持。此外，万事达卡将在所有员工向美国红十字会、美国关怀基金会、救助儿童会和联合国粮食计划署捐款的基础上再进行等额捐赠。
