Mastercard proudly unveiled its new global partnership recently with the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge™ – the women’s World Cup of Tennis and largest annual international team competition in women’s sports. Tennis is experiencing global momentum, with nearly 106 million people playing the sport worldwide, a 25 percent increase since 2019.


As part of the partnership, Mastercard also becomes the inaugural partner of the Billie Jean King Cup Global Rankings and the “Team of the Year” award – recognizing the team that has demonstrated exceptional passion, performance, and alignment with the values of the Billie Jean King Cup.
