Mastercard and HSBC Hong Kong have partnered to deliver live entertainment experiences to cardholders, building on Mastercard's long-standing partnership with Live Nation1. Through this collaboration, HSBC Mastercard cardholders in Hong Kong and Macau gain access to a range of privileges, including presale2 and preferred3 ticketing, as well as VIP experiences4 at Live Nation events in Hong Kong and Macau. Together, they are unlocking the door to unparalleled live music and entertainment experiences.
While overall experience-related spending has stabilized in recent months, Hong Kong consumers continue to prioritize major events such as concerts and live shows5. According to recent Mastercard data6, credit card spending on arts, entertainment, and recreation rose by over 10 percent year-on-year from April 2024 to March 2025, highlighting a strong and resilient appetite for live entertainment.
