Mastercard and PingPong Join Forces to Expand Solutions for Global Cross-Border E⎯Commerce

Mastercard and PingPong, global leading cross-border payment service platform, today announced their collaboration that will provide more secure and efficient payment solutions for cross-border e-commerce merchants. The partnership will focus on the fields of acquisition and card-issuing services.

According to Salesforce Shopping Index, global digital commerce grew 58 percent year-on-year in Q1 2021, reflecting the continued growth in online shopping[1]. This new partnership will allow cross-border e-commerce businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to benefit from comprehensive digital payment solutions, including more effectively harnessing online sales data.
