Chief Commercial Payments Officer

Dr. Dimitrios Dosis is the chief commercial payments officer at Mastercard and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Management Committee. He is responsible for leading Mastercard’s global commercial payments and money movement business, driving the strategy, growth and delivery of innovative solutions that help businesses of all sizes make and receive payments more efficiently, securely and intelligently.

Prior to his current role, Dimi served as president of Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), where he led Mastercard’s businesses across more than 80 markets and advanced the company’s efforts to bring new payment solutions and services to the region. These innovations spanned safety, security, data, artificial intelligence and inclusive growth. Under his leadership, Mastercard strengthened its position as a multi-rail technology company, collaborating with a broad range of public and private sector partners to enhance the region’s digital ecosystem.

Dimi previously served as president of Mastercard Advisors, the company’s professional services arm, where he accelerated the use of predictive technologies and data-driven insights to help retail and banking customers address complex business challenges and unlock growth opportunities.

He has more than 20 years of experience in technology, transaction banking and management consulting. Dimi holds an MBA and Ph.D. from the European Business School as well as a Master of Economics from the University of Hagen. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for ATHEX (The Athens Stock Exchange).
