As Mastercard’s chief product officer, Jorn Lambert is spearheading the shift to innovative, seamless and secure payments solutions, making Mastercard the best way to pay around the world.

Jorn leads Core Payments – a team developing the payments capabilities that are shifting the trajectory of the entire commerce ecosystem. The team encompasses a range of payments products and platforms aimed at providing richer, more secure, and scalable experiences for consumers and businesses. Digital solutions at scale such as tokenization, authentication, real-time payments, digital assets, new acceptance models and optimization support a myriad of in-store and online commerce use cases and set the stage for the next generation of payment experiences. 

Before stepping into this role in 2024, Jorn was chief digital officer, where he set the company's digital strategy globally. In this capacity, he shaped leading-edge solutions to future-proof the payments ecosystem, serviced the platforms powering them, and embraced partnerships with tech, fintech and digital partners to drive further innovation.

Jorn joined Mastercard in 2002 and has held a range of leadership positions across the organization to accelerate the company’s digital vision. Previously, Jorn spent several years in capital markets where he occupied various management positions in product development, product management and corporate strategy.

Jorn is a member of Mastercard’s Executive Leadership Team and Management Committee. Originally from Belgium, he resides in London. He holds a degree in Roman Philology at the University of Ghent and the Sapienza University of Rome, and a post-graduate degree in business economics from the University of Leuven.
