Carlo Enrico is president of Global Partnerships & Segments and a member of the company’s Management Committee. In this role, he leads a team focused on a cross-functional effort to deliver on the company’s strategy and deepen its engagement with existing and new global customers

He originally joined Mastercard in 2012 and has held several senior roles during his tenure. Most recently, Carlo served as President of the company’s Latin America and Caribbean  region, where he led strategy and operations across 45 countries and territories. Earlier he was division president for Central Eastern Europe and division president for Western Europe, where he was responsible for overseeing Mastercard operations in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Carlo was CEO of BancoPosta, the financial services division of Italian postal services provider Poste Italiane. He served in a variety of roles at Banco di Sicilia, Capitalia Group and Goldman Sachs, leading large teams, managing a diverse customer base, and developing and integrating strategies that drive revenue.

Carlo graduated from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
