Craig Vosburg

Craig Vosburg is vice chair for Mastercard, serving as a global ambassador for the company and focusing on strategic relationships with customers and partners, leadership development, and AI transformation initiatives across the business. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Management Committee.

Prior to this appointment, Craig was chief services officer, responsible for the company’s multi-billion-dollar services portfolio, accounting for nearly 40% of the company’s revenue and spanning fraud management, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, data and analytics, consulting, marketing services, and open finance. Craig also oversaw the company’s AI strategy and execution, product development and R&D, and the Mastercard Economics Institute.

Craig joined Mastercard more than 20 years ago and has held various leadership positions. This includes chief product officer, leading both the global product and engineering organizations and all of the company’s payments products. He was also president of North America, responsible for the company’s operations and customer-facing activities in the U.S. and Canada. He began his career with Mastercard in Singapore in advisory and consulting.

Earlier in his career, Craig was a senior member of the financial services practices with Bain & Company and A.T. Kearney as well as vice president at CoreStates Financial Corporation.

Craig sits on the board of the Sultana Education Foundation and the board of trustees of CancerCare. He is a former board member of Hawaiian Airlines and a past David Rockefeller Fellow at the Partnership for New York City. Craig holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
