As Senior Vice President at the Mastercard Economics Institute, Emily Scott leads global growth strategy and operations, overseeing regional  teams responsible for commercialization, market engagement, strategic partnerships, applied economics, and data validation. Her leadership drives the development of innovative methodologies, technology integration, and design, ensuring the Institute delivers actionable economic insights to clients and policymakers worldwide. 

Since joining Mastercard in 2023, Emily has been instrumental in expanding the Institute’s product portfolio and global reach. As Senior Vice President of Product Development, she spearheaded the creation of new services and delivery channels that brought the Institute’s unique economic perspectives to a broader audience.

Emily brings more than 15 years of experience in economic strategy, international relations, and market intelligence. Prior to Mastercard, she served as Chief Consulting Officer at FrontierView, leading global strategy consulting focused on international expansion, volatility management, and commercial execution — particularly in the healthcare sector. Her earlier roles at Frontier Strategy Group, Whitman Insight Strategies, and RAND Europe further honed her expertise in emerging markets, market research, and public policy.

Widely recognized for her expertise in areas including emerging markets, international relations, market research, business strategy, and data analysis. Emily’s talent for translating complex global trends into practical business strategies has made her a trusted advisor to multinational organizations navigating dynamic economic environments.

Originally from New York, Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Yale University and a Master’s degree in War Studies, specializing in International Security Policy, from King’s College London.
