Katia Bulgarelli

Katia Bulgarelli is a seasoned HR executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across global consulting, banking, and financial services organizations.

She has been with Mastercard for nearly 14 years, holding a range of senior roles across the Human Resources function. Her journey includes serving as HR Lead for Brazil & South LAC markets, Global People Business Partner for Consumer Solutions at the New York headquarters, and Regional People & Capability Lead for the LAC Region based in Miami. Most recently, Katia has taken on the role of Regional People & Capability Lead for Europe, operating out of Mastercard’s London office. Throughout her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in driving business growth, spearheading market expansion, and leading structural transformation across regions.

Before joining Mastercard, Katia held leadership roles at Isban (a subsidiary of Santander Group in Brazil), spent nearly a decade at Citi Brazil, and began her career at KPMG.

Katia holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
