As Senior Vice President, Customer Experience & Operations Transformation for APEMEA at Mastercard, he leads cross-functional initiatives that elevate customer experience, strengthen operational resilience, and drive strategic transformation across the region. 

With a foundation in software engineering and a career spanning business, IT leadership, and commercial delivery, Gerd brings deep market knowledge and a strong grasp of regulatory, security, and financial dynamics. He is known for his problem-solving mindset, ability to resolve complex challenges under pressure, and influence across senior stakeholder groups globally.

Highly regarded for his ability to align technology with business goals, Gerd has built a reputation for driving impactful change, fostering collaboration across functions, and delivering measurable outcomes.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from the International School of Management in Frankfurt and is a certified IT specialist in software development.
