Inclusion in Action Across Singapore
See how businesses across Singapore are supporting acceptance and creating more inclusive experiences for all.
Neurodivergent people have different needs around touch, time and space. Asking for consent and allowing space and time can make interactions more comfortable and less stressful.
Adjust lighting and reduce visual distractions to support comfort, focus, and accessibility for people sensitive to bright, fluorescent, or flickering lights.
Provide workplace adjustments and understanding management practices to support neurodivergent employees, including clear communication, predictable routines, and flexible working arrangements where possible.
Make recruitment processes more accessible by offering clear instructions, flexible interview formats, and reasonable adjustments to ensure candidates can demonstrate their strengths fairly.
Train staff to identify and understand available accessibility and sensory support tools so they can confidently assist customers and respond to individual needs.
Provide autism awareness and inclusion training to help staff understand sensory needs, improve communication, and create more supportive environments for autistic people.
