WHO WE ARE

Advancing dialogues through diverse perspectives

At Mastercard, we believe it’s our responsibility to foster a digital economy that works for everyone, everywhere. We established the Mastercard Policy Center for the Digital Economy (PCDE) to serve as a global forum and resource that creates the ideas, insights, and inspiration that drive the decision-making on the critical economic and policy issues that shape the digital economy.
As digital transactions become more ubiquitous, intelligent and engrained in every aspect of our daily lives, it’s imperative that we remain focused on a core set of principles designed to enable a trusted, innovative and interoperable digital payments ecosystem that works for everyone, everywhere. Our mission is to engage a wide array of stakeholders to bring a diverse and informed set of perspectives to the topics and issues that will define the digital economy.

Policy Center Team

Our team of policy experts draws on Mastercard’s global platform, expertise, and tools to develop the high-impact research and strategies needed to drive sustainable growth and support innovation within the digital economy.

Policy Center Fellows

The Policy Center Fellows are leading subject matter experts from across Mastercard who lend their knowledge and experience to support our policy engagement. Our fellows are here to help us move the policy discussion from the theoretical to the actionable based on their business and technical acumen.  We rely on them to not only help us navigate the intersections of business and policy but they also serve as a ready resource to our external policy partners and other participants in the Mastercard Policy Center.
