Vice President, Global Privacy Engagement, Mastercard
As Vice President of Global Privacy Engagement, Katie La Zelle is responsible for Mastercard’s Privacy Team’s external engagement: building relationships with policy makers, regulators, think tanks, academics, trade associations and beyond.
With experience from consultancies, the European Parliament and in-house roles, Katie has been advising corporate, public sector and civil society organizations within the financial services, technology, data and privacy space for over 16 years.
Although she is originally from the Seattle area, she is a self-proclaimed EU policy and Eurovision geek, titles she gladly claims after so many years being based in Brussels. Katie also currently serves as Chief of Staff to Mastercard's Chief Privacy Officer and within the Privacy Management Team is responsible for both Privacy Team Culture and Strategic Planning.
