ATM Locations

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is an ATM?
A: ATMs, short for Automated Teller Machines, allow customers to perform banking transactions anywhere and at anytime. By using a debit or ATM card at an ATM, customers can withdraw cash from checking or savings accounts. Some ATMs also allow customers to make a deposit or transfer money from one account to another or get cash advances using a credit card. Individuals should be aware that many banks charge transaction fees — generally ranging from 50 cents to $3 per transaction — for using another bank's ATM.

Q: How do I use the ATM Locations search tool?
A: Type in a city and state, or a zip code. You can further narrow down the list of ATMs by providing a street address, a financial institution’s name, and by checking off any additional criteria you require, such as handicap access or 24-hour access. Click the Search button, and you will be presented with a list of ATMs located near your destination. Click on a specific ATM for further information about its location. Depending on your destination, driving directions and a map may also be available.

Q: I am trying to locate ATMs in a specific country or regional location, but I cannot find any locations on the ATM Locator. Why?
A: MasterCard International receives ATM location information from Financial Institutions. If a particular ATM location is not listed on this site, or a specific country is not listed, then ATM location information is currently not available. We continue to work with financial institutions to provide you with the most up to date and accurate ATM location information available world-wide.

Also, you may wish to contact the financial institution that issued your MasterCard, Maestro, or Cirrus card for further assistance concerning ATM locations, personal account withdrawal limits and restrictions, local currency cash advances, currency conversion, exchange rates or other services offered. You will find their contact information on the back of your MasterCard card and/or on your billing statement. Or you can visit the issuer's Web site to manage your account online.
