Riyadh Air Launches RX Pay: Its New Branded Card That Rewards Guests in the Air and Everywhere They Go

July 16, 2026 | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Created with Mastercard and issued through leading Saudi banks, RX Pay is Riyadh Air’s own card - a new way to pay, earn, and travel, designed entirely around its guests

•    A new kind of airline card: RX Pay is Riyadh Air’s own -— designed and led by the airline, built directly on Mastercard, and issued with leading Saudi banks.
•    One simple card and digital wallet to pay, earn Sfeer Points, and manage travel credits -— in the air and on the ground.
•    Rewards that go beyond the airline: use RX Pay wherever Mastercard is accepted and turn everyday spending into the next journey with Sfeer Points.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – July 16, 2026 – Riyadh Air today launched RX Pay, its suite of branded cards and digital wallet, giving guests a simpler, more rewarding way to pay every day. Created in partnership with Mastercard and issued through leading Saudi banks, RX Pay carries Riyadh Air’s signature hospitality beyond the journey — rewarding guests for the way they already live, shop, and travel.

RX Pay marks a new chapter for the airline card. Rather than placing its name on a bank’s product, Riyadh Air has created a card that is unmistakably its own — shaped end to end by the airline, so every reward and every detail is designed around the guest. Leading Saudi banks issue, the card as trusted partners, and Mastercard brings the security and global acceptance guests know and trust.

Whether guests are booking a flight, shopping at home, or exploring a new city, RX Pay rewards every moment with Sfeer Points and exceptional benefits. And because it works wherever Mastercard is accepted, those rewards and benefits add far beyond the airport — turning everyday spending into the next Riyadh Air adventure.
To support the diverse needs of Riyadh Air’s ecosystem, RX Pay is structured around five dedicated product pillars:

•    Consumer Cards Products: Seamlessly processes payments for flights and ancillary services, integrating Sfeer loyalty rewards, multi-currency capabilities, split payments, and instalments.
•    The RX Wallet: A secure, single-credential digital wallet storing payment methods, travel credits, and future digital assets.
•    Enterprise Payments (B2E): Streamlines internal operations by digitizing corporate expenses, emergency funds, and employee disbursements—notably eliminating cash management and administrative friction for crew per-diem and new-joiner relocation allowances.
•    Travel Trade Products (B2T): Utilizes virtual card technology to optimize settlements, improve cash flow, and simplify reconciliation for travel agencies, corporate travel departments, and tour operators.
•    Business-to-Business (B2B): Facilitates direct digital settlement with suppliers, partners, and service providers to optimize working capital and enhance transaction transparency.
RX Pay will roll out in phases, beginning in Saudi Arabia — where Riyadh Air holds an exclusivity agreement with Mastercard — and is designed to grow across the airline’s expanding global network, welcoming trusted local bank partners in new markets along the way.

Adam Boukadida, Chief Financial Officer of Riyadh Air, said: “Riyadh Air is the world’s first digitally native airline, and RX Pay is at the core of our digital payments strategy. We didn’t want to put our name on someone else’s card - we wanted to create something truly Riyadh Air, that rewards our guests in their everyday lives, not just when they fly. Working directly with Mastercard, and with leading Saudi banks issuing the card, we can give our guests an experience no traditional airline card can match.”

Adam Jones, Executive Vice President and Division President for West Arabia at Mastercard, added: “Riyadh Air is redefining what a modern travel brand can offer its guests, and we are proud to bring the security, global acceptance, and everyday value of the Mastercard network to RX Pay. Together with leading Saudi banks, we are making it easier for travelers in Saudi Arabia and beyond to be rewarded for the way they already live and travel.”

What RX Pay brings to guests:

•    Your card — Riyadh Air’s own branded card, issued with leading Saudi banks and built on Mastercard, earning Sfeer Points on spending in the air and on the ground and accessing exceptional benefits, wherever Mastercard is accepted.
•    Your wallet — one secure, single-sign-in place to pay, manage travel credits, and watch your rewards grow — simple, elegant, and always with you.
•    Rewards that travel with you — everyday spending earns Sfeer Points you can redeem toward flights and travel experiences — value you feel in real life, not just at the airport. And now, RX Pay opens up even more ways to use them — guests can redeem their Sfeer Points on any purchase, wherever Mastercard is accepted, not just on flights.
•    Made for modern travel — multi-currency capability, split payments, and flexible instalments make paying for travel effortless, with more everyday features on the way.

Because Riyadh Air designs the whole experience, RX Pay is built to keep getting better — extending the same simplicity and care across the airline’s wider community over time.
