The Skype for Business help topics below will guide you to the answer you need and provide troubleshooting tips if you run into an issue.

Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Most of the time, you don’t need a PIN when you call into the meeting with a phone. All you need is the phone number and Conference ID, which you'll find in the meeting invite.

You only need a PIN if:

  • You’re the meeting leader, and are calling in from a cell or home phone
  • You’re an attendee, but the meeting is secured and you need to be identified

Your PIN is created when you first start using Skype, but you can reset your PIN if you don’t remember it.
