Our gateway is designed to give you the payment processing tools you need to succeed.
More than a risk mitigation tool
Adding our tokenization solution reduces merchant exposure to card data compromise and its effect on a merchant’s reputation. It also provides a secure, cost-effective way to keep sensitive card details away from a merchant’s system, which can reduce the scope of PCI-DSS [SC1] (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements and its associated cost.
How tokenization works
- 1. They integrate a simple API (application programming interface) into their payment application, adding security while maintaining flexibility and control.
- 2. When new payment cards are authorized, they’re assigned a unique, configurable security token that’s stored with the card details in our secure, encrypted database
- 3. Merchants use the token for transactions/refunds. The gateway associates the token with the card payment data and submits it for authorization and settlement.
- 4.The merchant stores the token, not the sensitive data.
Benefits to using tokenization
Using tokenization can provide peace of mind if a retailer is compromised externally or internally.
Help merchants with PCI tokenization
The secure storage of cardholder data in a hosted model can narrow the scope and associated cost of PCI-DSS compliance.
Make shopping quick and easy
Instead of entering their card details again and again, consumers enter their details once and click to buy for future purchases
Works well with recurring transactions
Tokens make life easier for merchants that bill periodically for goods, services, memberships, subscriptions or installment payments.
Keep everyone’s data safe
Lower the likelihood of a catastrophic payment card data breach and reduce PCI compliance costs by securely storing cardholder data
