As culinary artistry becomes the new entertainment, MasterCard collaborates with ArtLogic to produce the Gourmet Theatre - a pop-up showcase of the finest chefs hosted in surprising and picturesque environments. The interior of the Theatre features local art and furniture by top designers such as James Mudge and Goet.

In the beautiful gardens of the Franschhoek valley, the Gourmet Theatre popped-up at the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival - featuring the remarkable talents of Chef Bertus Basson of Overture, artist Beezy Bailey and charismatic appearances by various local Cap Classique, cheese and charcuterie producers.
Gourmet Theatre at FoodWineDesign - November, 2012
Situated on the rooftop of the Hyde Park Corner Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, the Gourmet Theatre made an appearance during the FoodWineDesign Fair. Appealing to a contemporary audience with discerning tastes, visitors to the designer-elegant space were treated to three-course meals by top chefs David Higgs (The Saxon Hotel), Reuben Riffel (Reuben’s Restaurant) and Luke Dale-Roberts (The Test Kitchen).
