Q: How can I get a MasterCard card?

Q: Are MasterCard cards accepted globally?

A: Yes, MasterCard is accepted around the world at retail outlets and ATM machines where you see the MasterCard (or Maestro/Cirrus) sign. Currently, you can use your card in more than 33 million locations worldwide.

Q:Who should I call if I have problems with my MasterCard card?

A: If you experience problems with your card either in South Africa or abroad, you should contact your issuing bank, whose number will be printed on the back of your card.

Q: What is a Maestro card?

A: This is a debit card that is linked to your current account with your bank, i.e. when you use it, the funds are debited directly from your current account. It can be used at retailers or ATMs in South Africa and abroad wherever you see the Maestro sign.

Q: What should I do if I have lost or had my card stolen?
