Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival
MasterCard presents the annual Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival in the gardens of the iconic Huguenot Monument in the picturesque town of Franschhoek in the Western Cape. A highlight of the year's social calendar, the Festival showcases the best producers of local Cap Classique and international Champagnes. Visitors to the festival can sample bubblies and a range of gastronomic delights presented by local restaurants that have firmly entrenched Franschhoek's status as the culinary heartland of South Africa. Each year features a dress theme and an award for the best dressed and as a result top-hats, waistcoats, fascinators and fans add to the ambience.
