How it Works
MoneySend is a mobile-based service that allows your participating bank to link your mobile phone number to your MasterCard payment card or your bank account. Your designated account is both the source and the destination of funds transferred with MoneySend, and you can manage and trigger the exchanges securely through your phone or online.
To Send Money
Visit our registration site to join MoneySend—create a profile, link your phone and a prepaid payment card (or bank account) to the service, and set up your profile.
To Receive Money
If you’ve already signed up for MoneySend, receiving money is as simple as getting a text.
If you have yet to sign up and you receive money through your phone, you must join MoneySend first by linking to a bank or card account, before receiving funds.
Ways to Connect with MoneySend
MoneySend is provided by your bank, and can be accessed using three different mobile formats: traditional texting (SMS), WAP (web application), or mobile applet. You can also access your MoneySend account and transfer funds online.
Account Types
MoneySend works with debit, credit, and prepaid accounts. If you don’t have an account that works with MoneySend, or if your MasterCard bank is not yet ready for MoneySend, you can create a prepaid MasterCard account to store your MoneySend funds.
