Phone Return

End of Trial

Thank you for participating in the NYC Mobile Trial. Please return your Nokia trial phone in the postage-paid box provided at the kickoff event in Bryant Park by 5/30/07. In order to stay eligible to receive the $200 participation incentive ($160 pre-paid MasterCard and a $40 credit on your Cingular—now the new AT&T—mobile phone account), the box must be postmarked by this date*.

Be sure to remove the SIM chip and disable your phone’s payment feature prior to shipping it:

  1. Go to the handset menu
  2. Scroll down to “NFC” and hit “Select”
  3. Scroll down to “Secure. elem sett.” And hit “Select”
  4. Go to “Activation Level” and hit “Select”
  5. Scroll down to “Ask passcode first” and hit “Select”
  6. Phone will ask you to enter 4 digit passcode. Enter a passcode that only you will know. Hit “OK” on this screen
  7. Phone will ask you to verify the new secure element passcode. Re-enter passcode from above and hit “OK”
  8. The payment feature of you phone is now disabled

  1. What if I have lost my shipping box?
    Feel free to return your Nokia Trial Phone in any similar size box to the above Irving TX address
  2. When will I receive my incentives?
    You will receive your incentives by end of July 2007.
  3. Am I eligible to receive my incentive?
    Eligibility requirements: (1) completion of online surveys and (2) return of the Nokia Trial phone by 5/30/07 (box must be post-marked by this date)
  4. What if I do not receive my incentive within the time period specified above?
    If you have completed the surveys and returned the trial phone and do not receive your incentive by July 31, 2007, please contact customer service at 1-888-241-1159 (Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm, EST).
  5. If I deactivate the payment feature on my phone, do I also deactivate my credit card?
    No. Your credit card account will not be affected when you deactivate the payment feature of your phone.
  6. Can I continue to use my PayPass device?
    Yes. Your PayPass device attached to your credit card will continue to work
