MasterCard and Diners Club® have partnered to establish an alliance that will provide enhanced global acceptance to Diners Club North America cardmembers, and enhanced U.S. and Canadian acceptance for Diners Club International cardmembers.

Diners Club Cards which are issued in North America, have a 16-digit account number and a BIN beginning with "5" can be accepted and processed just like any MasterCard credit card transaction.

Diners Club Cards which are issued outside of the U.S., have a 14-digit account number, and a BIN beginning with “36” can be accepted just like any MasterCard credit transaction by implementing a POS/terminal adjustment.
