Unembossed Cards
Those consumers now presenting MasterCard cards with unembossed account information are likely to be new customers for your merchants. MasterCard Unembossed and MasterCard Electronic are designed to give your customers access to consumers from emerging segments. That is likely to mean incremental revenue. Merchants who already have electronic terminals are set up and ready to go. No system or equipment changes are required. And for those who do not yet have a terminal, accepting unembossed MasterCard cards might be an incentive to request one.
Quick Payment Service
MasterCard designed the Quick Payment Service (QPS) program to facilitate a member's ability to penetrate the small ticket industry segments, which have traditionally had a high concentration of cash transactions. The program is designed for convenience-oriented environments where the speed of the payment transaction is critical to the sale. MasterCard created the QPS program to facilitate payment by MasterCard cards in these queue sensitive environments. The QPS program provides MasterCard members with a sales tool to promote MasterCard card usage in these categories by offering registered merchants specific rule waivers for certain transactions that they process in accordance with the QPS guidelines. MasterCard recognizes the uniqueness of small ticket merchants that operate their businesses with a need to quickly move customers through the ordering and payment process to maximize sales and provide added customer convenience. MasterCard waived certain operating rules and regulations for program participants that allow QPS merchants to process under-floor-limit transactions without having to obtain a signed customer receipt or an online authorization. For a list of Card Acceptor Business Codes/Merchant Category Codes (MCC) eligible for the QPS program, please refer to the Quick Payment Service Guide available in the Member Publications product on MasterCard OnLine. Register Merchants for QPS Supermarket Acceptance Development
The Supermarket Acceptance Program was developed for qualified U.S. self-service, full line grocery stores. Aggressive competition for the sale of groceries to American households grows every year. Registering qualified merchants can help your merchant clients realize cost savings.

Travel Industries Premier Service
The Travel Industries Premier Service (TIPS) program was developed to recognize those U.S. lodging, auto rental, and cruise merchants that have implemented preferred services to meet the needs of their best customers. Convenience, express services, and rewards such as express check-in/check-out, frequent user program, vehicle pickup/drop off without the physical presentation of a MasterCard add to a quality experience and encourage repeat business. The program affords these merchants to accept a MasterCard card without requiring that the card be present. The merchant relies upon an existing relationship with the customer to ensure proper identification thereby expediting the transaction and improving the customer experience. Register Merchants for TIPS Service Industries Incentive Program
The Service Industries Incentive Program (SIIP) is designed to facilitate a member's ability to penetrate the Cable, Telecom, Insurance, and Utilities industry segments, which have traditionally not accepted MasterCard for payment. The program is targeted toward service industries that are seeking to increase customer loyalty/retention, improve cash flow and secure guaranteed payments through cost-effective collections.
