    MasterCard MoneySend is a card to card remittance service between families and friends. It allows participating financial institutions to use MasterCard’s global network and card products to facilitate domestic and cross-border remittances via ATM, Internet, branch and mobile phone.

    • With money transfers on the rise, MasterCard MoneySend provides a competitive solution for issuers to access new markets and capture incremental revenue streams
    • The service has been designed to leverage MasterCard’s existing transaction processing infrastructure to support banks to efficiently, cost effectively and profitably enter the remittance business
    • Authorization, clearing and settlement systems have been developed to support the requirements of both domestic and international remittance processing
    • Straight-through processing of remittance transactions means operational efficiency is improved
    • Payments are authorized online and guaranteed to reach the recipient typically within 24-48 hours delivering a reliable and fast service for consumers
    • For greater convenience, issuers may offer multiple channels for the sender (including ATM, Internet, branch and mobile phone) and receiver (including ATM and Point of Sale) to access the service, with support for both PIN and signature.
