Employee Volunteering

Volunteerism is one way our employees give of themselves. MasterCard's employee volunteer policy provides staff with two days of paid time off to volunteer in their local communities. Employees volunteer their time in several ways:

• Teach students financial literacy from kindergarten to high school
• Mentor young aspiring business entrepreneurs in middle and high school
• Participate in community rebuild projects
• Partner with NGOs through skills-based volunteering
• Serve as volunteer board members for many organizations

Additionally, in recognition of employees' individual efforts, the MasterCard Volunteer Incentive Program provides grants to charitable organizations where MasterCard employees volunteer.

Employee Giving

MasterCard also supports employees' personal contributions to charitable organizations. Through MasterCard's Matching Gift Program, the company matches employees' individual donations dollar for dollar. Disaster relief donations are matched 2-to-1.
