Terms & Conditions

  1. Our draw is open to MasterCard Prepaid cardholders, who are 18 and over, and reside in the UK. No employees of MasterCard, its group companies, their agents, or any company associated with the promotion are eligible to enter.
  2. To enter, use your MasterCard Prepaid card between 01/06/09 - 24/07/09 inclusive (the "Promotional Period") and enter your details on www.mastercard.co.uk/prepaidwin after which you will be entered into the prize draw. [One entry only per card holder after using your MasterCard Prepaid card. Maximum one entry per person]
  3. If you are a resident in Northern Ireland, no purchase necessary, for an equal chance of winning, please send a postcard entitled No Purchase Route, address to Prepaid Family Passes Promotion to PO BOX 31586, London W11 4YB. Only individual stamped and posted postcards permitted one entry per customer only.
  4. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. MasterCard takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
  5. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.
  6. Neither MasterCard nor agencies involved in this promotion will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to this offer.
  7. Entries must be received on or before 24/07/08. The prize draw will take place on 03/08/09. This date is fixed and will not be changed unless circumstances outside our reasonable control make it unavoidable.
  8. The first 100 entries drawn at random will each receive a family day pass to a Merlin Entertainments attraction of their choice. One family pass will allow free entry for up to two adults and two children. The family day pass issued is subject to each individual attractions terms and conditions.
  9. The draw will be made under the supervision of an independent adjudicator. The winner will be notified in writing within 28 days of the draw date.
  10. The prize is as stated and there are no alternative prizes or cash substitutes. The prize cannot be sold or transferred in any manner.
  11. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The winner and his/her companions agree to participate in publicity accompanying or resulting from the promotion. No additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities.
  13. If a prize is declined or if a winner forfeits the prize under these terms and conditions, then the Promoter may at its absolute discretion draw an alternative winner.
  14. Details of the winner will be available by sending a S.A.E. to MasterCard Prepaid Family Passes Promotion, PO Box 31586, London, W11 4YB within 6 weeks of the draw date.
  15. The Promoter reserves the rights to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the prize draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control.
  16. Entrants must read and accept the terms and conditions and privacy statement to be eligible.
  17. By entering the prize draw, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted the terms and conditions.
  18. English Law applies and the English courts will have jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
  19. Entrants' personal data are processed by MasterCard the Promoter, the controller of your personal data, and also by the Promoter's agency involved in administering the Promotion. Entrants' personal data shall be processed for the purpose of your participation in the Promotion only and will only be retained as long as necessary for such purpose (i.e. until 3 months after the end of the Promotion). Entrants can request access to and/or rectification of their personal data if incorrect. For these purposes entrants can contact the Promoter at the below address or by e-mailing privacy_europe@mastercard.com. By participating to the Promotion, entrants consent that their personal data may, for the same purpose as stated above, also be transferred to other entities of the MasterCard group of companies based in countries that, according to EU principles, do not provide an adequate level of protection of personal data and to Promoter third party contractors necessary to process entrants' participation in the promotion.
