You may need to provide proof of your identity and your address when applying for a prepaid card - but that's all. Everyone can get one - there are no credit checks or any other information that you need to provide.

MasterCard and Maestro prepaid cards are available from a variety of companies and participating financial institutions and merchants. Depending on the type of card, they may also be available on-line or at kiosk locations.
