During promotion period (“Promotion Period”) from 2006/8/1 to 2006/9/15, MasterCard® branded credit cards primary and supplementary cardholders who use MasterCard® branded credit cards (issued by MasterCard Worldwide) at participating merchants (“Merchants”) for this program listed in the official Chinese, Japanese and English booklets (“Booklets”), and satisfy the eligibility requirement are eligible to receive offers provided by Merchants and enter the call-in lucky draw.
2. The transaction currency of this program is New Taiwan Dollars (NT$). To meet the eligibility requirement for program participation, one must present his/her MasterCard® branded credit card(s) or proof of ownership when reserving services or making purchases. One must inform intention for offers redemption. Each transaction has to be made in full by a MasterCard® branded credit card. Some Merchants that provide offers might not accept MasterCard® branded credit cards for payment; however, cardholders may present their MasterCard® branded credit cards and Booklets (or coupons enclosed in Booklets) to redeem offers.
3. Promotion duration for some Merchants may vary from Promotion Period (2006/8/1~2006/9/15) and be stated in Merchants descriptions in Booklets. The others (not specified ones) are the same as Promotion Period. If any reason happens during the promotion, final promotion period and benefits shall follow the terms and conditions announced by merchants.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the benefits offered by Merchants in the program cannot be exchanged for cash and combined with other promotion offers, royalty rewards, frequent customer plans, discounts, benefits, or VIP programs announced by Merchants at the same time.

9. 2006 Taipei Shop & Dine Carnival Call-in Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions:
   

   Valid transaction to enter the call-in lucky draw refers to: From 2006/8/1 to 2006/9/15 (including starting and ending dates), purchases made with MasterCard® branded credit cards at Merchants under this program (including those listed in booklets) where MasterCard® branded credit cards are accepted (not including transactions where goods are returned or reimbursements are claimed). Each transaction equals or exceeds the amount of NT$1,000 is eligible for the call-in lucky draw entry. Each transaction is entitled to one entry only. Consumers must retain credit card receipts, call the local lucky draw hotline at 0987-120-120 at their own cost, and register complete personal information (including the first 4 digits and the last 4 digits of the cardholder’s credit card number, transaction date, transaction amount, authorized number, Merchants code, and contact information) to complete the call-in luck draw registration (Taiwan Mobile, TransAsia Telecommunications, and Mobitai users are charged at NT$0.1/sec, while users of other service providers are charged based on their selected inter-network calling rates). Registration with false or incomplete information will be disqualified to enter the call-in lucky draw. Some Merchants that provide offers do not participate in the call-in luck draw (specified in booklets). Purchases made at those Merchants who are not involved in the call-in lucky draw do not entitle cardholders the entry eligibility. The call-in luck draw adopts telephone registry and a computer processing system, both provided by Taiwan Mobile. The call-in luck draw date will be held on September 22nd, 2006. One grand prize winner, two grand prize candidates and one prize winner for each prize will be drawn from all valid transactions with successful registry by the computer calculation system. Once the prizes are drawn, prize winners will be notified individually via phone or written notice by Taiwan Mobile and McCann-Erickson Taiwan (“MET”), entrusted by MasterCard Worldwide. Prize winners should notify MET staffs whether they accept the prizes via fax, telephone, or registered mail within 2 weeks after receiving the written notice. Prize winners who do not reply via any of the methods mentioned above will be considered as renouncement of their rights. To prevent fraud transactions, MasterCard Worldwide and the issuing banks will verify the prize winners’ qualification and transactions. If the prize winners do not satisfy the program eligibility requirement, MasterCard Worldwide and the issuing banks will verify the qualification and transactions of candidate prize winners. If both candidate prize winners are disqualified, MasterCard Worldwide will draw another candidate prize winner via computer processing system. Prize winners with verified qualifications and MasterCard transaction receipts are granted the listed prizes. Prize winners should present credit card receipt or other proof of evidence that shows the transaction was made with MasterCard® branded credit cards at Merchants when claiming prizes. All prize is non-transferable; no substitution or alternative prizes. Prize winners must complete the government tax filing process in Taiwan, R.O.C. to receive the call-in lucky draw prizes. Failing to complete the tax filing process is regarded as renouncement of the prizes. According to the Income Tax Law of Taiwan, R.O.C., a prize winner of a prize value less than NT$13,333 will have to fill in Withholding Exemption Certification Agreement before receiving the Withholding Exemption Certificate from MET for tax filing in the next year. A prize winner of a prize value exceeding NT$13,333 will have to submit a tax approximately 15% of the prize value (for prize winners who have resided in Taiwan, R.O.C. for or more than 183 days) or 20% (for prize winners who have resided in Taiwan, R.O.C. less than 183 days). The prize can only be claimed after the tax payment receipt submitted to MET. After MasterCard® branded credit cards cardholders register the call-in lucky draw, their partial personal information will be submitted to a 3rd party organization for computer data processing and prize draw. If cardholders approve the above data processing procedure, they are entitled to join the call-in lucky draw with a single purchase at NT$1,000 or more on their MasterCard® branded credit cards. The prize winners of the call-in lucky draw have to agree MasterCard Worldwide to announce their names, photos, and residences if necessary. MasterCard Worldwide reserves the rights to make final determination on the qualifications of the call-in lucky draw participants.

10. The prizes are provided by participating merchants. MasterCard Worldwide is not the manufacturer or seller of the prizes. In case of flaws on prizes or other disputes, consumers should directly contact the Merchants who provide the prizes. The grand prize is 2 return business class long distance airline tickets from Taipei to any EVA AIR destination. The flight tickets are provided by EVA AIRWAYS. MasterCard Worldwide is not an airline or travel service provider or seller. Consumers should directly contact Merchants who provide the prizes for any flaw or dispute.
