Prepaid Mastercard. Simply the easier way to pay.
Our prepaid cards offer you convenience and control. You simply load a Debit Mastercard with funds and use it for the things you would normally use cash for. Of course, every card comes with Mastercard worldwide acceptance.
What is a prepaid card?
A prepaid card can be loaded with money by you or someone else. You can then use the card to pay bills and make purchases in-store, over the phone or online. You can use your prepaid card wherever Mastercard or Maestro cards are accepted. A lost or stolen card can be cancelled and the balance transferred to a replacement card.
What do I need to get a card?
You may need to provide proof of your identity and your address when applying for a prepaid card but that's all. In most cases, anyone can apply and there are no credit checks.
Which prepaid card is right for you?
From gift-giving to budgeting, there’s sure to be a prepaid card to suit you.
Types of Prepaid Cards
Use the Mastercard Everyday Prepaid Card for all the things you'd normally use cash for. Whether you want to shop, pay bills, or keep track of your spending, it’s a simple and, effective way to, manage your money.
Choosing the perfect gift has never been easier. Where a gift voucher or traditional gift card is often tied to a particular merchant or shopping centre, a Mastercard or Maestro prepaid gift card can be used wherever Mastercard or Maestro cards are accepted.
When you're travelling, it pays to have a safe and convenient way to pay. Unlike cashing travellers' cheques, you don't need your passport to access your money. You can also reload your card as you travel. Plus, if your card is lost or stolen, it's not at all like losing cash*. Most travel card issuers will provide you with an emergency card, or emergency cash, while you are travelling.
