But we were determined to have a blast on our final day. We were greeted with pouring rain and strong winds, so we had to bring the venue indoors to Akaroa Area School’s gymnasium. Luckily we had the support of Banks Peninsula Rugby Club, who had 15 volunteers on hand to help us out. Great work guys. We also presented Banks Peninsula Club Captain, Tom Stewart with a signed All Blacks rugby jersey to thank him and his club for all their support.
